1. airheaded nouveau riche kids who come from a generation of linguistic mongrels and thus their lack of proficiency in both english and tagalog. they mix the two languages and think that "make + tagalog verb" (eg make kulit, make kain, make away, etc.) is an actual grammatical form. they love to brag about new gadgets and think that anyone who doesn't have a camera-phone must be really pathetic.

2. it's ignorant, baseless, and hurtful to brand ateneans collectively konyo. they can't help it if most of them (but not all) speak good english and you don't (ie not "braggy" whatever that means) . by the way, filipino classes at the university are notoriously tough but challenging. they equip the student with at least above-average skill in the native language. thus, they know better than konyo kids.
konyo kids who think flashy stuff are everything should spend an entire month at the convent to learn what frugality is.

2. Derived from the word coño - spanish slang word for pussy; one who mixes tagalog and english (tagalog) while talking - mostly rich filipino kids.

Girl: Could ask someone na lang, coz I'm too busy kasi eh.

PYRAMID by CHARiCE, No. 1.

A Filipina made it to the top. Charice's single Pyramid recently on top of the Billboard chart for Dance/Club Play. Isn't this a good thing for us Filipinos? Even in our tough times today, a famous singer made put our country on the map of the world again. Not to mention Manny Pacquaio and the other artists and people in different fields.

The song Pyramid is really a great song. The melody is perfect. It wuited Charice's voice. The song really deserves to be on top. And Charice, even if she is a new comer, deserves to be on her place right now. So go ahead and listen to the song. I'm sure you won't regret it.

NOYBI won?!

Before I leave the house I saw, both on GMA and ABS election coverage that Benignoy Noynoy Aquino And Jejomar Binay are the leading candidate both on Presidential and Vice- Presidential. Does this mean the "NOYBI" tandem of Sen. Chiz Escudero will push through?

Well for me, that tandem is not that bad. To think Binay made big contributions in Makati City so I think he is really fit to that position. Plus, he came from a poor family and struggle to fight for survival. Now, he and his family are well off because of his perseverance and dedication to excel in every field. Even if he was filled with controversy before of having an affair with other woman, his name was cleared and now, I think, he is ready to serve the country.

Going to Noynoy, He really deserves to win the position. He came from a good family. Brought up with the guidance of the church, close family ties, and I think he is morally upright and just individual. But I know, when he was just a senator, my friends told me that he didn't even pass any law or whatsoever. But we need to see the good side of him. Maybe he is just waiting for the right time, right moment, right position to excel. He has the intention to solve the problems of our country. Lets give him a chance to work and serve the country.


KUDOS to both of the candidates. Noynoy and Binay. NoyBi for short. And goodluck to all other candidates from different positions. Lets hope for the betterment of our country. And development of our people.

NOODLES: Term for Hot and Yummy Guys!

Maybe each of us cannot hide the fact that we are tempted with hot and yummy guys right? With those lean muscles, hot body, six pack abs, and that sex appeal. Ohhhh! Love it. So my friend and I came up to a new term. NOODLES. Whenever we see a hot and attractive guy, we murmur and say, NOOOOODLES! Why? Isn't it when you are eating NOODLES with soup, most of us will make a sound of "TSSSSSUPPPPSSSS!" or "SSSSSSSUPPPPSSSSS". Am I right? So we relate it with those hot yummy studs. Its like you are eating and tasting those guys. TSSSSSSUUUUPPPPPS! Yummy!

So if you will see a hot and yummy guy, try to tell your friends... NOODDLLLLEESSSS! LMAO.

"Today marks a momentous event in our daily lives"

Actually that was my speech when I was in my elementary grade, giving my Valedictory address. Which made me think that it is related to what is going to happen today. May 10, 2010. Its Election Day today. It means we will going to elect or vote again our new leaders that will serve our country. I hope that all of us will vote the right leader. For change and for the betterment of our country. Since we are into Poll Automation, in two days time we will khave our newly elected leaders. I hope there will be no discrepancy on the results. I do pray for a fair and just election. No wonder people will raise their voices if the infamous "Hello Garci" controversy will happen again. Right? So, get up! Vote Wisely for a better Philippines. KYRA of PBB off the HOUSE!

Last Saturday night, May 08, 2010, Kyra of PBB was voted off the Big Brother House. Four of the nominated people, which were nominated due to consecutive violations. Joe and Kyra were left to be voted out. And then, Kyra was off the house. Everyone was crying especially Ivan. And last night's episode, were there are new nominated housemates from both the Pinoy house and Teenternational Housemates. And also last night's episode, the winner for last week's task were the TEENernational housemates. Which they deserve. LOL!


And this week will be another thrilling week. What I heard, two moms will be domestic helpers inside the House. Mothers of two housemates as what pertained last night. So keep on watching PBB Teen Clash of 2010. Don't miss any episode. :)
